Hello!  My name is John.  I am 42 years old.  I live in Providence, Rhode Island, U.S.A..  I work in all of New England.  My business plan is about performing and teaching the violin.  All of my music related experience has been with the Rhode Island College since I was 13.  I am a member of the Local 198-457 of the American Federation of Musicians of the United States and Canada.  I plan on talking with someone at the Rhode Island Legal Services about my business plan with in the next year.  The last violin teacher that I had was part of the Rhode Island College BA music degree program.  I no longer take lessons.  I am currently the computer graphics, audio, & video engineer in my studio.  I am my own makeup artist also.  In the future I will include a section in my business plan about an investment portfolio and talk to someone at the Bank of America about it.  I have a merchant account set up with Pay Pal.  I am learning about Google web services like; Adsense, Adwords, & Analytics.  I have accounts with all the social networking sites like Facebook,  Twitter, Instagram, Pinerest, Linkedin, & Fiverr.  Why am  I not practicing the violin?  Or what am I practicing the violin for?  The Book and DVD that I am trying to create about the violin is what I am preparing on my violin.  Scales, Chords, Arpeggios, Double Stops, & Intervals are the main topics that I present.  Please download and print the PDF files and print out the image files found on my blog.  If you want one on one lessons via Facebook or Skype please click here!

This agreement ("Agreement") is made between John N. Gold ("Instructor") and [Student's Name] ("Student") for online violin lessons. This Agreement outlines the terms and conditions of the online violin lessons provided by the Instructor to the Student.

1. Lesson Details:

   a. Lesson Format: Online via [preferred video conferencing platform].

   b. Lesson Duration: [Number of minutes/hours] per lesson.

   c. Lesson Schedule: [Specify days and times of lessons].

2. Lesson Fees and Payment:

   a. Lesson Fees: The fee for each lesson is [Amount] per lesson.

   b. Payment Schedule: Payment shall be made [weekly/monthly] in advance.

   b. Instructor Cancellation: In the event that the Instructor needs to cancel or reschedule a lesson, the Instructor will provide at least [number of hours/days] notice to the Student and offer a makeup lesson at a mutually agreed-upon time.

4. Student Responsibilities:

   a. Equipment: The Student is responsible for having a suitable violin and necessary equipment, including a reliable internet connection and appropriate video conferencing software.

   b. Practice: The Student is expected to practice regularly between lessons to progress and make the most out of the instruction.

5. Instructor Responsibilities:

   a. Instruction: The Instructor will provide online violin lessons to the best of their abilities, sharing their knowledge, skills, and techniques with the Student.

   b. Lesson Materials: The Instructor may recommend or provide instructional materials, sheet music, or exercises as necessary for the Student's progress.

6. Termination:

   a. Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing written notice to the other party at least [number of days] prior to the desired termination date.

   b. Termination due to Misconduct: The Instructor reserves the right to terminate this Agreement immediately if the Student engages in inappropriate behavior, exhibits disrespect, or fails to follow the Instructor's instructions.

7. Confidentiality:

   a. Both parties agree to keep any personal or confidential information shared during the lessons confidential and not to disclose it to any third parties without prior consent.

8. Governing Law:

   This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [State], without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
